How I show up

My role as your doula.

Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are some of the most transformative passages a person can move through. They ask us to meet the unknown with courage, to listen closely to our bodies, and to navigate moments that can feel both powerful and vulnerable.

As a doula, my role is not to take over that process. It is to stand beside you in it.

I want your voice to be heard. I want to help you let go of fear and trust your intuition. I want to normalize uncertainty and help you find peace in it.

Becoming a doula didn't change who I was. It simply gave a name to work that already felt instinctive.

About

I am Marysia Buczyna.

I am a mother of three, an artist by training, and a lifelong student of the body.

Long before I held a doula certification, I was the person friends called in the middle of the night when something felt uncertain. Sitting on living room floors, talking through fears, answering late-night questions, and quietly holding space.

My background in ceramics and design taught me to trust process. To pay attention. To understand that meaningful work happens slowly, through patience, care, and the willingness to stay present when things feel unpredictable.

Motherhood made those lessons personal.

You don't have to figure
this out alone.
Let's start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, in person over coffee or virtual. No script, no commitment. Just space to talk through where you are and what you need.

I take only 3 birth clients per month so each family gets my full presence.
